  • Digitisation of Slides from St Catherine's Monastery

    Digitisation of the slides so far collected during the condition survey of the library of the St Catherine's Monastery in Sinai, Egypt. Funded by the Headley Trust Grant Scheme.

  • English/Greek Terminology for Bookbinding

    The overall objective of the project was the production of a bilingual glossary to describe the structure and materials of Byzantine/Greek bookbinding. Funded by the AHRC.

  • Language of Bindings Network

    This project, funded by the AHRC created a network of experts from a range of institutions in the UK and across Europe, who worked together to agree on a methodology for describing bindings using a widely accepted terminology.

  • MitoSys

    The MitoSys (systems biology of mitosis) project will aim to figure out how mitotic proteins function and interact with each other in a mitotic cell to generate a system that drives chromosome segregation and subsequent cell division, from a systems biology perspective. Funded by the EU 7th Framework Programme.

  • Pain and Injury in a Cultural Context: Dancers' Embodied Understanding and Visual Mapping

    An AHRC funded project, which body mapped the pain and injury of dancers. The major focus is in the area of the body and dance within the field of the sociology of dance and culture, which covers theatrical dance and social dance and involves a range of theoretical and empirical studies.
